How To Make Your Blog Make Money

Here is how I make my blog make me money...

How would you like to have a virtual money tree on your computer that will drop money into your account for you?

There are a few steps - and lots of work involved.

If you are patient and do not give up
it will come to you.

How would you like to go from this
To this...
 To this...
To this...
 To this...
There are Four Basic methods you must employ...
  • First and Foremost you need a Blog to post to.
  • Second you need lots and lots of traffic.
  • Third you need ways of generating money.
  • Fourth you need lots and lots of patients.
The first method can be accomplished easily with Blogger or WordPress to name a couple.  They are the easiest to start up and navigate through.  Google will let you monetize your blog right through your Blogger dashboard. The easiest way to make money is through Google Ad-Sense ads, do not click your own ads - even on accident they will terminate your account.

The second method isn't so easy.  To get traffic and lots of it you will need to have a high quality blog and content.  It doesn't come over night but as people visit your site you will get better and better rankings and will be more easily found.  You need to read other blogs within your niche and leave comments and a link to your blog.  These methods will naturally create back-links through other sites that will link back to your posts as people click on and read your posts.  There are a few secrets that I have found out the HARD WAY.

There are also classified submission services that will post to Craigslist, Backpage, and many other classified ads for you, this will save you lots and lots of time and money.  I use this AND IT WORKS WELL.  Here is the link to the one I use:

http://www.classifiedsubmissions.com/g.o/colemancris

They will post over 550,000 ads for you for a whole month, and it is VERY AFFORDABLE!
They also have a referral program, so not only do they market for you but they make you money from their services to, you get paid half of what they get for each sale you send their way.
Great Deal!!

The easiest way to get high quality backlinks is to hire someone to create them for you! THIS CAN GET VERY EXPENSIVE IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO LOOK.
I will get 5,000 high quality backlinks for you for only $25.00 I could sell these all day for an easy $100.00. PEOPLE WILL PAY BIG MONEY FOR SEO!
This is a sure fire way to get noticed by GOOGLE and get major traffic to your site.
This site went from 100 visitors per month to over 1500 per month!! And climbing!!
Good results. Look below the heading for a link to our backlinks page!!

BloggingYou also will need to put Meta Tags in the HTML code of your blog or site.  There are many different Meta tags.  You can GOOGLE it and learn how or watch youtube videos on it.  This is a great website  Free SEO Tools for Bloggers,Webmasters Here they teach you great tricks for SEO, they have a FREE meta tag generator that works great, all you do is copy and paste.

Another great SEO tool is the GOOGLE Adwords Keyword Tool.  It allows you to search for the most used keywords for your topic and lets you know which keywords to use to optimize your exposure on the web.  You can also use this for keyword enrichment in your blog posts.  Here is the link - Google AdWords: Keyword Tool.

Here is a liitle trick you can try - it seems to work pretty good also - blog pinging sites.  This is also FREE they are pretty self explanatory but, what they do is submit ping to all the major search engines for you making it easy.
Here are some of them-

You can also make a qr code for free to put on business cards or any where you think you will get exposure this actually works really well.  Post Card mailings are a great tool but keep them simple not colorful images or extravagant artsy pictures...use a qr code on them, it makes it easier to go to  your site than having to type it in the browser, it's like copy and paste from the real world to the virtual world - made possible!!
Here is the Link -QR-Code Generator

Third you will need ways of generating money - As I stated above you can monetize right through Google with Ad-Sense ads, or other ad sites such as Chitika or Bidvertiser.  You can use Click-Bank affiliate links on your blog to sell E-Books and software.    You can use your blog to send people to your other money making sites that you create or join.  You will also Need to build a LIST,  in order to build a list you will need an auto-responder.  An auto-responder is an automated software program that lets you collect contact information and automatically send, e-mails, information, or simply let people subscribe to you or your information.  there is always an option to unsubscribe  from any future contact at the bottom of your emails so if people feel they are being spammed they can always unsubscribe from you list.  Building a list is key to marketing your future ventures to the people who already trust you and a good way to market back end offers.

I have found the best auto-responder for the money, it is under $18.00 per month and they offer an affiliate program so it pays for itself.....so that basically makes it, A FREE AUTO-RESPONDER?  people pay upwards of fifty to one hundred dollars for other auto-responders.  Plus this thing can make you capture pages, banner campaigns, unlimited list size, unlimited campaigns, this is a crazy deal.

Check it out here      Traffic Wave Auto Responder     I personally have employed all these techniques and have found that having a blog wasn't enough I had to venture out into other methods.

I also use a great tool that gives you 202,000 leads per month into your inbox.  These are leads that have opted into Biz Ops and are willing to spend their hard earned money on your business opportunity.  This is the greatest service out there and their affiliate program pays 100% commission to you.  It cannot get any better than this!!!

Fourth You will need lots of patients - as I said it doesn't come over night, or in a week, it may come in a month but it's not likely.  Two or three months down the road you will start to see some awesome results if You stay patient and work hard every day  no matter who says your are goofy for trying or tries to talk you down - push through all that and stay focused - IT WILL COME.

Most people give up after a month of blogging, they may see twenty dollars for all their efforts and are disappointed they didn't make millions the first month they started.  What they do not realize is they should focus on what worked and what didn't and move in the direction of what worked for their success.  Marketing is all about finding what works and moving in that direction.  If it quits working - try something new and give it a few weeks before you give up on it.

Use your blog wisely, and keep good content at least weekly and you will see the benefits of your hard work.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR OWN DISK BRAKES

YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

The normal tools required:

  • FLOOR JACK
  • JACK STAND(S)
  • FOUR WAY LUG WRENCH OR AIR WRENCH IF YOU HAVE ONE
  • SOCKET SET OR BOX END WRENCHES
  • "C" CLAMP
  • HAMMER  (just in case)
  • SCREW DRIVER
  • WIRE
  • ALLEN WRENCH SET
  • TORX WRENCH SET
  • BRAKE PARTS CLEANER
  • NEW ROTORS
  • NEW PADS
Usually there are only the lug nuts and four bolts needed to be removed in order to change disc brakes.

FIRST

Locate a hard surface to do the work on so the jack does not sink in to the dirt or gravel.   Loosen the lug nuts (DO NOT TAKE THEM ALL THE WAY OFF, JUST LOOSEN THEM) so you  are able to use the weight of the vehicle to hold the tire still to make it easier to get them loose.   Look under the vehicle and find the correct location to place the jack without damaging other parts of the vehicle.  Once you have  located this spot, jack up the vehicle to a height that you can get a jack stand under it in the event that the jack would give out, safety first.  Let the jack down onto the stands very slowly and slightly rock the vehicle to be sure it is steady and will not fall onto you while you are working on the vehicle.

SECOND

Remove the lug nuts and remove the tire. I usually sit on the tire while i work on the brakes.  Look at the whole brake assembly.  You will see a Rotor, a Caliper, slide pins, pads, bolts to hold on the bracket that holds the caliper in place, and a flexible hose.  Take note of how it is put together and how it all works.  in the hose there is hydraulic fluid that pushes against the piston in the caliper which in turn pushes on the brakes pads forcing them against the rotor stopping the vehicle using friction.
1 pads - 2 rotor - 3 caliper - 4 rubber dust boot -  5 piston -  6 flexible hose - 7 slide pin tube - 8 slide pin bolt boot - 9 wheel bearing hub - 10 lugs

THIRD

Remove the slide pin bolts holding the caliper in place and take out the old brake pads.  Using a piece of wire to hold up the caliper tie it up so there is no excess pressure the the flexible hose, and it is out of the way.  Now remove the bolts holding the bracket that holds the caliper in place, these bolts may be Allen style, Torx style or regular bolts - metric or standard. Remove the rotor.  Older vehicle rotors also contained the wheel bearings and hub.  Most rotors now do no contain the hub and wheel bearings.  They are as pictured above.

LASTLY

Put the new rotor on, bolt the bracket for the caliper back on, put the new pads in it, using the "C" clamp and an old brake pad, put the old brake pad against the piston in the caliper and slowly crank it back into the caliper so there is enough space to put the caliper over the thickness of the new rotor and pads.  Put the caliper back on and the slide pin bolts back in.   Spray the whole assembly down with brake parts cleaner to remove any grease and the factory coating from the rotor and pads.  Put the tire back on and you are done.  Raise the car off of the jack stand, remove it and let the vehicle down.

I KNOW IT WAS QUICK BUT IT'S THAT EASY!!

I HOPE THIS HELPED

TIPS ON MAINTAINING YOUR BBQ GRILL

When you purchase a barbeque grill, think of it as an investment rather than just another lawn or deck ornament for your outdoor entertainment. You should expect this item to become a large part of your outdoor activities for many years to come. Just like any other investments, proper maintenance and care is needed to ensure that your barbeque grill will work for you for many years to follow.  While some maintenance and cleaning is specific to the type of barbeque grill your own (gas, electric, charcoal or smoke barbecue grill), the majority of maintenance that should be carried on does not change from grill to grill.  Here I will discuss a list of items needed, cleaning methods, and preventing problem issues.

First tip - Gathering The Necessary Items

All you will need is some common household items on hand when it comes time to clean your barbeque grill.  Nothing special, no need to run to the store and buy specialized grill cleaning agents.

Brass wire grill brush
Steel wool pads, some of these come with soap in them already
Mild dish soap
Sponge or dishcloth
Spray cooking oil
Dry baking soda
Aluminum foil

Second tip – Brushing the Surfaces of your grill

The first thing that should always be done to your grill is a routine brushing. Using your brass wire grill brush (or other brush suitable to your type of grill) you should brush off all the surfaces that see heat from the inside of the grill. I usually start the charcoal with my Chimney  Charcoal Lighter and let the coals get real hot then put the rack on the grill to effectively burn off old food pieces and any remaining grease.  Once the grill is good and hot I then brush the rack.  By routinely brushing your barbeque grill, you will prevent any type of buildup. If buildup from food is left to long, it can become increasingly difficult to remove.

Third tip – Cooking Spray

After you are done cooking and you have repeated the first and second step, and you are sure that your grill is free of all buildup and debris, and that your grill is completely cooled off, you will want to spray it down with a light layer of cooking oil. Spraying it down with cooking oil will prevent your barbeque grill from rusting. It is especially important to make sure your barbeque grill is completely cold, as spraying cooking oil on a hot surface may cause the oil to heat up and ignite, or become very sticky and work the opposite, which could be potentially dangerous to you and your barbeque grill.

Fourth tip - Use Baking Soda and Aluminum Foil to clean your grill

Baking soda is a very nice mild abrasive, cleaning and polishing agent. Once you have removed any extra debris and buildup, lightly scrubbing your barbeque grill’s cooking surfaces with baking soda will give it that extra shine, similar to the day that you brought it home from the store. This can also be used on handles and knobs to remove any extra buildup that cannot be taken off with a wire brush.

Aluminum foil can also be used to keep your grill looking nice. Crumple up the aluminum foil into a ball and gently rub it on your grill and you will notice that it removes grim and buildup.

Fifth tip - Clean Your Racks

The racks in your grill are especially important as this is where the food touches when it is cooking. After you have used the wire brush to remove as much buildup as possible, it may be necessary to clean them even further.  Once you have removed as much as possible, start washing the racks with dish soap and a sponge. If the racks are really dirty, you may also want to use the steel wool pads. Be sure to completely rinse off all soap and residue before cooking on these racks again. Soap just does not taste good and it WILL leave a residue on the racks.

Sixth tip - Preventing Problem Issues

The majority of problems that arise from barbeque grills comes from lack of cleaning and maintenance. That means if you notice something does not seem quite right with your barbeque grill, chances are it can be fixed with just a simple cleaning. Even if you clean it, and still find that it is having problems, at least you saved yourself the potential embarrassment of talking to a professional only to find out all it needed was to be cleaned.

Seventh tip – Preventing Problem issues

One method of preventing problems with your barbeque grill is protecting it from the elements. If you have a shed, it is a great place to store your grill, after it has completely cooled down of course.  Covers are available for grills in all shapes and sizes, so chances are, you will be able to find one that fits your grill. If you have a cover for your barbeque grill, then all you will ever need to do is do the regular maintenance listed above.  PLEASE BE SURE YOUR GRILL IS COOLED BEFORE PUTTING ON THE COVER.  I know common sense right?  Well you would be surprised of the amount of e-mails I get because I forget a very simple step in my tutorials like that.

My last tip – Ask For Help If You need it

Many people think they cannot fix things on their own.  That may be true, but all you have to do is ask how-to.  There are many avenues to follow to learn how to repair anything – even your BBQ Grill. A broken handle, a loose leg, a vent came loose? I will be happy to help you with any issue you may have just click on my link to my forum on the right and ask away…

I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU

GARDENING TIP

Depending on what you are going to do with them, there are many different varieties of tomatoes.  There are juicy ones and meaty ones, large ones and small ones, round ones and long ones, some are good for sauces and some good for sandwiches, green ones, red ones, and even yellow ones.  Romas are very meaty and not so juicy so these are the best for sauces and salsa, and Beefsteak and Betterboys are very juicy and are the best for sandwiches or salads.

We usually plant our tomatoes around this time of year every year.  If you start them from seeds start them indoors around march so they have plenty of time to get big and strong before they are planted outdoors.  They should be about 6 to 10 inches before planting outdoors.  We usually throw the seeds and skins back into our garden from canning and we get "volunteers".  These plants are just as good as the ones you started indoors or have bought at the store.  Usually these ones are much more hardy because they have made it through the winter, and as they say "only the strong survive".

Here is a great way to plant your tomatoes.  After  tilling with a rototiller, or which ever means you use to loosen the soil in  the area you are going to plant your tomatoes, make a furrow with a hoe about 5" to 6" deep.  Lay the plants in   the furrow spaced out at least 2 feet apart so they have room to branch out.  BEFORE YOU COVER THE PLANTS, mix up some fertilizer or root stimulator in a watering can and sprinkle it on the roots.  This will give them the boost they need to get over the shock of being transplanted.  Cover the plants with soil up over the first set of leaves.  This will stimulate new leaf growth, new roots will grow all the way up to the point where the soil stops, and by covering up higher on the stem, it will make them sturdier and if the wind blows they will remain standing.  It is a good idea to put tomato cages or stakes to hold up the plants so the fruit does not lay on the ground and rot. We put ours on right away as soon as we plant as they are way to hard to get on later.

There are many diseases and physical disorders that tomatoes suffer form and I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a few of them.  I usually use the internet to figure them out and how to fix them.  Here is a link to the site I usually use.

HOW A WATER SOFTENER WORKS

I'M SO SOFT

What is "hard" water anyways and why do we need a "water softener"?

We say water is "hard" if it contains a lot of calcium, magnesium or other minerals. Groundwater picks up these materials by dissolving them from surrounding soil and rock. The industry measures water hardness in terms of grains per gallon (GPG) or milligrams per liter (mg/L). A grain is defined as 64.8 milligrams of calcium carbonate. If water tests at 1 GPG (17.1 mg/L) or less, it is considered soft water. Water around 1-3.5 GPG (17.1-60 mg/L) is between soft and slightly hard water and 3.5-7 GPG (60-120 mg/L) is moderately hard. Hard water is around 7-10.5 GPG (120 - 180 mg/L), and very hard water is above that. I borrowed some of that info off of the web by the way.

When Water evaporates it leaves behind all the dissolved solids, such as the calcium and magnesium, and other minerals it may have picked up from the ground. So this is why it accumulates in and on your appliances.

Soft water has less surface tension and thereby increases soap's ability to lather hence reducing the amount of soap needed, saving you money and possibly helping pay for your water treatment long term. When hard water mixes with soap it leaves behind soap scum and "lime" deposits in your shower, and on your sink.

A water softener works on an ion exchange principal. The ion exchange takes place within the resin tank full of small polystyrene beads, also known as resin orzeolite. The beads are negatively charged and the positively charged sodium ions are bonded to them. As the water flows past the beads, the sodium ions exchange places with the calcium and magnesium ions, which carry a stronger positive charge.
After a designated amount of time or gallon of water pass the beads in the softener have reached their maximum capacity of calcium and magnesium from the ion exchange process and need to be regenerated. At the set time or gallon amount the softener will regenerate. I will guide you through a regeneration cycle step by step.

1. BACKWASH - First the valve on top will reverse the flow and close the valve going to the water supply for your house. This redirects the water flow and fluffs up the beads in the resin tank.
2. BRINE DRAW - In this step the valve stays as above and the brine valve opens allowing the salt solution to flow in up through the beads and forcing the calcium and magnesium ions to be pushed off the beads and recharging them with the sodium ions. The drain is also open allowing good flow across the resin.
3. SLOW RINSE - In this step the valve switches to direct the water back to the correct flow direction and slowly rinse away all the rest of the brine and calcium and magnesium. The reason for slow rinse is to keep the beads fluffed up to ensure good flow all around the beads.
4. FAST RINSE - This step's function is to give a good final rinse and be sure the resin is all compacted back into the bottom of the resin tank.
5. SERVICE MODE - Now the drain valve closes and the service valve opens back up and the timer or flow meter starts over, depending on how your softener is setup.

BORROWED IMAGE FROM WEB

Usually the softener will use about 25 gallons of water to go through a full regeneration cycle.   A newer softener set to 25 GPG will go through about 2 bags of salt per month.  During the regeneration cycle there is no soft water, for this reason it is a good idea to setup your softener to regenerate at night or early morning around 2:00 am or so. This is a good time because it gives the softener ample time to go through its cycle uninterrupted and usually the demand for water at this time in the morning is very minimal. There is however, still water to the house through the bypass valve.  This is how most of the home water softeners work there are a couple different styles but this is the most common. Some models come as a combined unit and some come as two separate units with the brine tank and resin tank being separate.  Both units do the same thing, it is a matter of preference and space. If you do not have a lot of space you might want to go with the combined unit.
Usually the outside water spigots are not connected to the soft water.  This is because your outdoor spigot is usually used for watering a lawn or garden and soft water is not needed.  It is not very economical to water the lawn or garden with treated water.  It is nice to have soft water to wash your car with, it dries better without spots.  I have seen where people have put an extra valve in so they can turn off the hard water and turn on the soft water to their outdoor spigot.
Water softeners can be installed by the homeowner in most cases, it is an easy project if your are a little handy.  Please check your local plumbing code and make sure you do not need a licensed plumber to install your softener before attempting this.
